PC battery does not fully charge
Laptop batteries will live longer if you don't charge them all the way to 100%, especially while the laptop remains plugged in. For this reason, Samsung Notebook PCs include technology to limit the battery's maximum charge to 80-85% on purpose, so the battery will not fully charge. While we recommend to leave this feature on, it can be turned off if you'd prefer your battery to charge to 100%, such as before a long trip.

Cannot enable keyboard backlight on Samsung PC
If you have a backlit keyboard, it can be toggled on and off with the Fn and F9 keys. If the key combination does not work, you may need to install the appropriate Samsung Settings app on your PC. If the key combination does something else [like turn the screen on and off], this means your model does not have a backlit keyboard.
Webcam is not working on Samsung PC
Most laptops nowadays have built-in cameras just like your smart phone does. You can use it to participate in video chats or just take pictures. However, if it's not working, you may need to install a driver update or adjust your settings. After each step, test the camera again using the Camera app.
Fn key not working on Samsung PC
Pressing the Fn key turns the Function Keys into hotkeys [or shortcuts] for a number of system functions. For instance, Fn + F2 will darken your screen and Fn + F3 will brighten it. If the keys are not responding as expected, it can be easily fixed by adjusting the settings or checking for available updates.
Samsung PC cooling fan noise
It's normal for the fan to get louder if the PC is working hard, and should quiet down when the task is complete. Gaming and video rendering are notorious for pushing a computer. If the fan is running hard during normal use, there's a few things that can be done.
Samsung PC missing Windows or Office product key
You may need your Windows or Office product keys if you reinstall the operating system or reset the PC to its factory settings. Samsung does not keep a record of product keys.
