Failed to patch game files Garena

Yesterday, I just manually patched my garena to 12.1 with this https://lol.garena.ph/download and it worked fine i got to play. Fast forward, today garena wants me to update again but I don't want to update it with garena since there is a tendency for it to fail and then redownload all the game files which is over 13gb. I wanna know is there supposed to be a hotfix for 12.1? Currently there is no hotfix here https://lol.garena.ph/download. or should I download the 12.1 patch again?

Hi!
You can retry downloading the patch manually from the site. It should be less than 300MB last time I checked.
Regarding the redownload prompt, I think this only applies if you transferred to another region and ended up trying to install the League files for that region.
If you are unsure, try to do the following:
-do a Repair
-redownload the manual patch after repairing
-install the manual patch

Thanks for the reply, I downloaded the patch again it is 285,299 kb, same size as the one I downloaded yesterday same name too. It doesn't work asking for a depot file. I think there should be a hotfix but not posted on the garena website. Might I ask what does the repair do? does it download stuff?

already did the repair stuff [still didn't worked out well]

I might need to uninstall the game and reinstall again. . . [maybe] (It's a risk)

Hello,

During the install of a Patch for League of Legends this error appeared. Now my game is not working at all and also I did a fresh install of the entire game and still is not working. It seems like this patch messed up my entire game and PC. Can anyone help me to repair what I messed up ? What could be the problem with League of Legends ?

The cause of this problem is a faulty installer – you will have to manually move the files that failed to update. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Run the update process again and when the above error appears, do not click OK. Rather, move to error window away to the side, so it reveals the text below.

2. Now that you know the file that failed to update and its location, you can proceed to manually replace it. There are several ways to do this. You can ask someone for the file that you need and transfer it over USB or you can download the full client in an archive from here. Once you download it, you can extract any file you want and transfer to your installation folder.

After you replace the offending files, run the patching process again. Now your League of Legends will work properly.
