OC Public Libraries offers both Library Cards and eCards.
A library card will give you full access to all books, movies, databases, downloadable eMedia, library internet terminals, and more.
An eCardprovide access to online databases and downloadable eMedia. eCards may not be used to borrow, place holds on material from the library, nor is it valid for use of the public Internet computers at the libraries.
Patrons who already have an OC Public Libraries card already have this access and do not need an eCard. You may upgrade your eCard for full privileges by calling one of our libraries. Click HEREfor requirements.
LIBRARY CARD
To apply for a library card, you must be a California resident and provide a government issued photo ID such as your valid Drivers License, State ID, Passport, Consulate ID card or an active Military ID.
To apply for a Library Card, fill out the online library card application form.
