Summer 2020 is going to look a bit different than anyone could have ever imagined. Concerts and festivals have been cancelled or postponed, travel plans have been scrapped and people everywhere are anxiously awaiting stay-at-home orders to be lifted so life can return to being somewhat normal again.
Even though summer 2020 isn’t going to pan out exactly how we expected it to, that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate all the things in life that we are thankful for. These times of uncertainty have brought many families closer together and have given many of us a new perspective on life and that is certainly something to raise a glass to.
Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kick-off to summer, so whether you’re stuck at home, or social distancing on a boat or beach somewhere, let’s toast the little things in life and make the most of it!

Kenny Chesney: “We Do”
Kenny Chesney’s stadium-ready anthem “We Do” celebrates the lifestyle of his fans – No Shoes Nation. It’s the perfect summer song!
Florida Georgia Line: “Beer:30”
Featured on the duo’s just-released 6-Pack, “Beer:30” is likely to become a massive hit for Florida Georgia Line. The infectious track opens with the line “It’s beer thirty, and I’m thirsty” and goes on to find FGL celebrating members of the working class who have been “workin’ like a dog all week long” and just want to relax and enjoy a cold one.
Kelsea Ballerini: “Hole In the Bottle”
A highlight of her new self-titled album, Kelsea Ballerini’s “Hole In the Bottle” is a drinking song for winos. The upbeat track finds the superstar drowning her sorrows in a bottle of wine and is Ballerini’s first-ever drinking song.
Sam Hunt: “Young Once”
“Young Once” is a fan-favorite on Sam Hunt’s recently released Southside album. The song celebrates the adrenaline-filled adolescent years and encourages listeners to embrace their youth.
Jameson Rodgers feat. Luke Combs: “Cold Beer Calling My Name”
“Cold Beer Calling My Name” finds Jameson Rodgers and Luke Combs celebrating life’s little moments by cracking open a cold one. From clocking out on a Friday to being front row at a “hillbilly rock show,” the carefree tune is everything we need right now.
Brad Paisley: “No I In Beer”
Brad Paisley turns to longnecks to wash his troubles away in his latest single, “No I In Beer.” The upbeat country number suggests “we’re all in this together” and that no one should be drinking alone. “Drinking oughtta be a team effort / There is no I in beer,” he sings on the chorus of the party-ready anthem.
