Australian Gold Tinted sunscreen light to medium

I have used Elta MDSPF 46 tinted for years and although I love it, I have been recently educated on the amount of sunscreen I should be wearing and will therefore be going through a lot more. A YouTube beauty influencer was the first to turn me on to this. Australian Gold is a great price and has a lovely consistency. The color was also a great match. I’m thrilled that it has no fragrance in it although initially there was a smell that I wasn’t crazy about, but it dissipated quickly. I’m not sure if I will be sensitive to the eucalyptus in it but I am definitely willing to give it a try! Well done!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brennen from Holy Grail I was afraid they were discontinuing this line because it was taken off the shelves of my local drugstores and was sold out everywhere (even on Amazon and eBay!) In an effort to find a dupe, I tried almost every tinted mineral sunscreen on the market from high end to low tier and there truly is nothing else like it on the market. The finish of this provides a soft-focus filtered effect and minimizes pores and texture. And can we talk about how transfer resistant this is?! This stuff doesn’t budge! You can’t beat the sun protection this offers for the price either. Please never stop making this because I will be a loyal consumer for life!

I let it dry down a little bit before putting on my foundation, and it works as great primer. On days when I absolutely don’t have time for make-up, I feel better with at least the BB cream tint on my face, it evens out my complexion in a completely natural looking way. It also doesn’t burn my face like some harsh chemically facial sunscreens I’ve used in the past. This is it. I also feel great about know the chemical profile of this one is healthier. This is it. My forever sunscreen!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cassandra from This shade too light, next shade too dark So I really wanted to like this product given its ingredients and company values that align with mine....BUT as their shade range is extremely limited they do not have a tinted sunscreen for me and my skin tone. I have a hard time color matching bc (even by make up artists) my skin looks like it needs lighter shade than it is. Most of products are usually called something along the lines of deep-tan/dark-tan. Rather unfortunate bc this product has great reviews and seems like a great product. But it is not very inclusive of varying skin tones so oh well. I will attach a picture of my self so people with similar skin color can make a more informed decision. Also, my ethnicity is Native American and Portuguese if there’s anyone looking at this product that might have a similar skin tone due to heritage. Would definitely give it another shot if there was more options that catered to more varying skin tones!!

It’s vegan, great for sensitive skin (I use it around my eyes with no irritation), and doesn’t make me look like a ghost. I have a light medium olive complexion. The original is a shade light for me and the medium tan is a shade dark. But it gives me a natural tan look so I don’t mind. I find it has a blurring effect on the skin and sits nicely under foundation. I love how long it lasts on the skin. The only thing to be mindful of is making sure you thoroughly wash it off at the end of the night. I’m not going to lie, it does take a little effort to remove. Overall it is wonderful and I’ve bought some or my mother and sister.

The color matches my skin tone well. I wear it under makeup and it works like a primer! Please don’t ever discontinue this!

I wear it as my every day makeup and love the powdery finish that gives my skin a blurred finish but still allows my skin to breathe through. I am really struggling to find this product in stock anywhere. Please PLEASE keep making this. Cannot live without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GNicole from Perfect for my skin type This tinted sunscreen has been my go to in the winter. It’s light and glides on the skin so smoothly with a matte finish. I apply this product after my moisturizer and it does not dry my skin out. I mostly wear it without make up, but under make up.. it looks and works just as good. I was worried the medium-tan shade would not match with my skin tone but the product blends in really well. My only wish is that because it’s a tinted sunscreen, that it would provide more coverage to hide small imperfections like dark spots. It hides no imperfections. Overall, happy with the price and quality of it!
