Dell laptop speaker volume too low
Low volume sometimes means the audio signal got mixed up with communications signal and all got reduced by 80%. This usually happens on streaming gamers because they are broadcasting gaming sounds along with their own voice chat so the computer doesn't know what signal is what. The default way for computers is that while you are listening to music or watching a video at a normal volume, you receive a skype call, the computer automatically reduce your music volume by 80% so that you can listen to the skype call. Somehow everything got mixed up and every sound got reduced by 80%, therefore low volume. Some people have success solving this problem by toggling every sound setting on and off to reset the audio settings. I mean everything, like changing from 24 bit 48 khz to 16 bit 44.1 khz, hit apply. Then changing it back to 24 bit 48 khz and hit apply. Turning off exclusive mode and then turning it back on. Changing reducing volume by 80% to "do nothing" and then turn it back on....
