We’re well into the the sticky end of the year, and it’s been a good one. As putting together our top 25 videos of the year proved, picking the best of the best is a painstaking process. Especially when you’re faced with picking the 50 best songs of the year. The Happy team put their heads together to compile this list. There were tears, there were late nights and last minute alterations. Our list became 55. Then 60, at which point we ramped this process into YOLO territory and doubled that original number to 100. Now we’re here, a list that boasts the best of what Australian music had to offer this year. It’s been a cracker, and we can’t wait to do it again in 2016.
