Nikon thông báo rằng việc sản xuất máy ảnh DSLR D3500 và D5600 đã kết thúc, xác nhận một báo cáo từ năm ngoái.

Nikon cho biết cả hai mẫu máy ảnh DSLR DX đều bị ngừng sản xuất để tập trung nỗ lực R&D vào các sản phẩm nhiếp ảnh cao cấp hơn dành cho các chuyên gia và người có sở thích chụp ảnh. Công ty sẽ tập trung vào nâng cấp các mẫu máy có khả năng quay video, điều mà Nikon cho rằng đây là xu hướng của các nhiếp ảnh gia trẻ tuổi.

“Bạn có thể đã thấy từ các bản phát hành quan hệ nhà đầu tư gần đây của Nikon rằng hãng đã tập trung nỗ lực R&D vào các máy ảnh và ống kính từ trung cấp đến cao cấp, nhắm mục tiêu đến các nhiếp ảnh gia chuyên nghiệp và yêu thích chụp ảnh", Nikon cho biết trong một tuyên bố với các nhà bán lẻ.

“Chúng tôi cũng đang tập trung vào việc tăng cường các sản phẩm để đáp ứng nhu cầu của những người có sở thích trẻ hơn, những người mà yêu thích quay video. Với chiến lược sản phẩm này, việc sản xuất đã ngừng đối với cả hai mẫu máy ảnh D3500 và D5600.”

Việc thay đổi này không phải là một bất ngờ. Vào cuối năm 2021, Nikon đã chỉ định cả hai máy ảnh là "sản phẩm cũ", báo hiệu rằng vòng đời sản xuất của chúng sẽ sớm kết thúc. Khi sự phổ biến của máy ảnh không gương lật tiếp tục vượt trội và với thách thức về tình trạng thiếu chip máy tính trên toàn thế giới ảnh hưởng đến các nhà sản xuất thiết bị điện tử, bao gồm cả máy ảnh, nhiều thương hiệu đang sản xuất các mẫu máy ảnh có dấu hiệu chững lại do xu hướng hiện nay. Công ty cho biết, mặc dù không có kho hàng mới nào được bổ sung cho cả hai mẫu máy ảnh, nhưng hàng vẫn sẽ tiếp tục được bán cho đến khi hết tồn kho.

Mẫu D3500 có giá bán lẻ khoảng $415, với D5600 có giá cao hơn một chút là $550. Tuy nhiên, sẽ không có gì ngạc nhiên nếu giá máy ảnh giảm để giải phóng hàng tồn kho, đặc biệt là tại các cửa hàng lớn.

Nikon cũng xác nhận rằng sẽ thay thế ứng dụng ViewNX và CaptureNX bằng NXCapture Studio, một phần mềm mới hỗ trợ chỉnh sửa & xử lý hình ảnh miễn phí của hãng.
