Maybelline instant age rewind concealer review

I recently Picked up this concealer as it was something a little more affordable for me to use more often as I usually get the Nars concealer from Mecca.

I think it is decent for its price range and I love the applicator and design as it makes it easy and smooth to apply where necessary. I think it's great for when I'm going for a more natural look and don't want to apply foundation.

However, It does not have the best full coverage as I find I have always had quite dark under eyes since my early teens. Further, I don't know if its how I am applying it but it goes slightly orange closer to my bottom eyelashes but that might just be because of my skin type and slight oxidation of the product

This beauty must-have has over 111,000 verified five-star ratings and is ranked No. 1 on Amazon's list of concealers and neutralizing makeup. Shoppers can't stop raving about this product's coverage and staying power — it provides up to 12 hours of crease-resistant wear, according to the brand. It also comes in 18 shades, and the variety helped me match my skin tone accurately.

The ingredient list includes goji berries, which, as the "Age Rewind" name suggests, are said to help improve the look of fine lines. It's also formulated with haloxyl, which Maybelline says is intended to help lighten dark circles.

Instead of using a brush or a makeup blender for application, the Instant Age Rewind Concealer has a built-in sponge that feels a lot like a dense cotton ball. With a couple of twists, the concealer rises to the top of the applicator, allowing for smooth and even distribution.

When I put it on, I was pleased with its blendable formula. It has a thick consistency but feels lightweight, which I appreciate when I'm seeking a more natural look. Typically, I apply concealer in an upside-down triangle shape to completely cover the dark area under my eyes. The “micro-corrector” tip on the Maybelline concealer made applying the product this way much easier.

I was thrilled with the immediate results. My complexion seemed brighter, and it looked like I instantly got a few more hours of sleep.

Though I've only used it under my eyes, shoppers say that it's an excellent multi-use makeup product.

"I have used this product for several years now," one verified reviewer said. "Bought it originally as a concealer for dark areas under my eye, but soon started using it to cover the occasional blemish, and it's fantastic."

Another customer agreed and said they use it all over for a full face of makeup. "I don't wear foundation, but this has such great coverage and staying power that I have used it on my cheeks, forehead, and chin for a more cohesive look."

In addition to the sheer versatility of the product, it also holds up in terms of quality. Unlike some face makeup that fades throughout the day, this Maybelline concealer doesn't run or melt in the heat. I also didn't experience any clumping or creasing in those fine lines around my eye area — even after hours of wear.

With nearly 10,000 five-star reviews, it's clear that the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer is one of those drugstore products that's here to stay. If you're looking for other affordable concealers to try, Amazon has similar products you can shop, many of which are also top-rated and loved by reviewers.
