Bates failed to draw a target during Monday's 32-21 win over the Eagles.
Bates was on the field for 41 of Washington's 83 snaps on offense in the upset victory, with his 49 percent share representing his highest mark since Week 5. It's worth noting that Bates ran just eight routes on the night, as the Commanders implemented a run-heavy game plan that often featured Bates sharing the field with top tight end Logan Thomas. On the occasions the Commanders are looking to pass, Thomas is still expected to rank ahead of Bates as the team's preferred option at tight end.

Commanders' Dyami Brown: Just one catch in Week 10

Brown played 16 of the Commanders' 83 snaps on offense and finished with a 15-yard reception on his lone target in Monday's 32-21 win over the Eagles.
Brown's 20 percent snap share played him fifth among Washington wideouts behind Terry McLaurin (86 percent), Curtis Samuel (64 percent), Jahan Dotson (41 percent) and Cam Sims (33 percent). Considering that Dotson was eased back into the mix with a light workload in his return from a five-game absence, both Sims and Brown look like candidates to see their roles reduced further with Dotson's playing time expected to increase in the weeks to come.

Commanders' Logan Thomas: Records two catches in Week 10 win

Thomas hauled in two of his four targets for 12 yards in Monday's 32-21 win over the Eagles.
Since missing three straight games from Weeks 5 through 7, Thomas has seen his snap share gradually climb over the Commanders' subsequent three contests. After logging 56 percent of the Commanders' snaps on offense in his return to the lineup Week 8 against the Colts, Thomas bumped up to 70 percent Week 9 versus the Vikings before climbing to 73 percent Monday. Now that his calf injury is further behind him, Thomas should continue to fend off John Bates for No. 1 tight-end duties, but the role hasn't been as fruitful in 2022 for the 31-year-old as it had been the previous two seasons. Through his seven appearances this season, Thomas is averaging just 3.9 targets per game, well down from the 6.1 he averaged in 22 outings between the 2020 and 2021 campaigns.

Commanders' Cam Sims: Fails to corral lone target

Sims finished Monday's 32-21 win over the Eagles with no receptions on one target across 27 snaps on offense.
Sims' 33 percent offensive snap share was his lowest mark since Week 4, when he was on the field for just six percent of the Commanders' plays. Unsurprisingly, Sims' drop in playing time coincided with the return of Jahan Dotson (34 snaps, 41 percent share), who stepped in as the No. 3 receiver after missing the last five games with a hamstring injury. Dotson's role is only expected to grow bigger in the weeks to come, so Sims could see his snap shares dip back into the single digits in future weeks while he becomes more marginalized as the No. 4 wideout.

Commanders' Jahan Dotson: Limited role in return

Dotson (hamstring) hauled in his lone target for a 14-yard reception in Monday's 32-21 win over the Eagles.
In his return from a five-game absence, Dotson didn't start but still finished third among Commanders receivers in snaps, albeit by a small margin. He was on the field for 34 of the Commanders' 83 offensive snaps (40 percent), trailing both Terry McLaurin (86 percent) and Curtis Samuel (64 percent) and narrowly outpacing Cam Sims (33 percent) for fourth. Expect Dotson's snap share to pick up as he becomes further removed from the hamstring issue, but the rookie doesn't look like the safest bet to reclaim the fantasy utility he held over the first quarter of the season before the hamstring injury surfaced. In his first four games, Dotson turned in a modest averages of three receptions and 38 receiving yards on 5.5 target per contest, but his value was propped up heavily by four touchdown catches.

St-Juste recorded seven tackles (six solo) and a forced fumble during Sunday's 32-21 victory versus the Eagles.
St-Juste logged his first turnover of the season, as he punched out a fumble to nullify a 50-yard reception by wide receiver Quez Watkins in the fourth quarter. The cornerback also tied his season high in tackles, increasing his season total to 38 (32 solo) through 10 games. St-Juste should continue to play an every-down role against the Texans this coming Sunday.

Commanders' Jamin Davis: Season-high nine stops

Davis recorded nine tackles (five solo) and a fumble recovery during Sunday's 32-21 win over the Eagles.
Davis logged a team high in tackles during this terrific performance for Washington's defense. The linebacker nearly picked up a scoop-and-score fumble early in the fourth quarter, though this recovery was ultimately called back to the Philadelphia 34-yard line upon further review. Davis also played every defensive snap for the second time in the past three games, and he'll likely play an every-down role if team-leading tackler Cole Holcomb (foot) sits out for the fourth straight game this coming Sunday against Houston.

Commanders' Chase Young: Expected to be activated Week 11

Young (knee) is expected to be activated from the PUP list ahead of Sunday's contest against the Texans and make his season debut, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Young is expected to suit up for Sunday's road matchup against Houston, which would mark his first appearance since he tore his right ACL and MCL last November. The Commanders have been clear that Young's return to the field will be dependent on the team's full confidence in his health, so assuming the standout defensive end avoids any setbacks, he could be in line for a substantial snap count in his season debut Sunday.
